General Information

The MSc program in Robotics is one of the post-graduate courses of the department of Computers, Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering, School of Engineering of the International Hellenic University (IHU). The program is based in Serres, close to Thessaloniki, and has been established as a multidisciplinary post-graduate course with a clear academic profile targeting edge robotics technologies.

MSc in Robotics aims to offer knowledge on the basic theory and practice of contemporary robotics systems. It follows the developments in Industry 4.0 revolution and it is pioneering an educational breakthrough, bringing post-graduate students close to the new industrial needs and the innovative thinking of modern enterprises.

The curriculum covers the basic robotics technologies: embedded systems, machine intelligence, robotic vision, design and simulation of robotic systems, robot operating system, augmented reality. Also, it emphasizes educational robotics activities that are of interest to educators.

The program activities take place in the laboratory of Robotics and Automation, which is found in the new building of Informatics, in the Serres campus of IHU, which is one of the best University campuses in Greece.
